Running a marathon is one of the most challenging things people will ever do. It’s the ultimate test of physical endurance; stamina and mental strength set over 42 grueling kilometres. The Gold Coast Marathon was the perfect opportunity to engage and connect runners with the one thing that could help them make it to the finish; their supporters. So ASICS created Run With Me. A new way for runners to connect with their friends, family and support network, to make them part of the marathon experience… in real time. Using RFID technology, Massive 20m+ screens, real time social updates and Google mapping technology, video recording stations and more.

Australian washing detergent, Vanish Napisan, wanted to be famous for making white clothes white. So at the height of the US Debt Crisis Euro RSCG Australia travelled to Washington DC with a giant cheque for $25 million to try and sponsor the most famous white building in the world: The White House. In 5 days the agency created 12 online films as they door-stopped media, politicians, celebrities and the American public. Of course President Obama said “no”. So they used the publicity to kick start the real campaign culminating in Vanish Napisan sponsoring an Aussie family’s ‘white house’ instead.

To boost sales of Harpic White & Shine the client gave the agency the unenviable task of persuading consumers to clean the toilet every day, instead of their usual weekly clean. In research women told them a simple truth: Men make the mess and women are left to clean it up. From this insight Euro RSCG Australia created a fresh, entertaining platform to draw consumer’s attention to daily toilet disasters: Harpic Toilet Confessions – where the men of Australia finally came clean for their toilet crimes. The agency launched the idea with traditional media, which included television, radio, newspapers, outdoor and online. They then encouraged men to visit the direct response website and create their own personalised apologies – these were then posted on social media, their dishonour roll and sent via email.
