these are really nice!
I hope they paid The Oatmeal’s Matthew Inman for the borrowed illustration style.
‘Brewed LOCALLY in Canberra’ better.
Nice illustrations.
Terrible Art Direction. Drop shadow wrong.
There’s a Grey in Canberra?!
Disagree with opinionated poster above.
If they’re the fresh brewing company, brewed fresh in Canberra works. It also works to the reason you’d buy the beer. And ‘drop shadow wrong’ ‘…LOCALLY in Canberra better – is English your third language or fifth?
Nice work guys, don’t remember anything this good coming out of Canberra before. These will stick out and raise a smile.
9:07pm – suit!
Nice. Campaign thinking. And from Canberra, no less!
Tonally there is some nice playful thinking here. Giving the product a human role so to speak in a campaign never works however.
Art Direction – what’s up with those lines under some words? Slows down the copy.
They have AWARD in Canberra?
the hostage one is pretty edgy. ballsy. good work for getting that approved.
Bound to pick up best of show at the CADC awards later this year…
Not bad at all.
Kinda funny.
Paying client?
Sweet work Matt
Where was the backpackers disaster execution?
Horrible Scottish people rooting in the bunk beside you….
To Crumb, R: I don’t think they paid The Oatmeal’s Matthew Inman because it looks nothing like his work. It does, however, look like a lot like the work of SeeMikeDraw’s Mike Jacobsen, who is listed as the illustrator.
