To promote the new SBS series Housos, a comedy series about people living in housing commissions, agency US Sydney created and distributed branded paper bags to bottle-os around Sydney.
US believes it was a cheap, unconventional solution that got seen (and used) by just the right people.

Unconventional – Tell that to Ted 696
As a person that revels in picking up half drunk booze bottles in dirty brown paper bags, I’d call this very targeted and effective media.
How does a goonie fit in it?
The Housing Project
cute
Client must be pleased, cheap tick, original tick, will promotes awarness with the target tick. Well done guys nice, and it’s not often I say that on here.
Hmmm so we’re all forgetting that it’s been done?
Advertising on brown paper bags has been done?
Fuck me. I had this great radio idea last night but I threw it out because people have advertised on radio before.
When will all the young ‘media neutral digital native’ people realise that it’s about the message, not the delivery.
