BMF reveals Sydneyʼs treasures down under via interactive website for Underwater Earth
A new interactive website, designed and developed in-house by BMF Sydney on behalf of the locally-based, not-for-profit, Underwater Earth has just been unveiled –
Everyone knows Sydney is famous for its iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge, but few people are aware that what lives beneath Sydney is just as spectacular. Itʼs a little known fact that Sydney has the best marine life of any major city on the planet, with more species of fish found in Sydney Harbour than in the entire Mediterranean Sea.
Now Sydneysiders can go online to get up close and personal with the marine life of their local area. Take a tour through local suburbs, find ʻlocalʼ fish and look through stunning images and videos created by Underwater Earthʼs team of photographers, using underwater scooters.
Richard Vevers, passionate marine conservationist and creator of Underwater Earth believes the new website will educate and inspire people: “How can people care about what they donʼt know about? The oceans need a promoter. In the past 50 years weʼve eaten 90% of the big fish in the world and destroyed half the worldʼs coral reefs. Itʼs time we get to know what creatures live beneath us and do what we can to protect them.”
BMF’s CEO, Jeremy Nicholas added: “I just love how local this project is. Itʼs all about recognising and understanding the amazing creatures that live in Sydneyʼs other city- under the water. BMF are really proud to play a part in protecting the oceans for our kids and grandkids.”

I know its not for profit and i commend BMF for doing it (if they did do it for free) But it really is a crap site. You could probably buy a better template.
