Bestads Top 6 of the Week – reviewed by Ale Lauraeus and Antero Jokinen, 358 Helsinki
TV Winner: Danish Road council: The Party. This felt like watching an independent mafia flick. You never see violence, horror or porn in advertising. Now we got violence. Yet they managed tie the idea to it. The “don’t drink and drive” message was really clear in the end. Clever and funny.
Runner up: Allstate Insurance: Holiday Mayhem. 8pts.
BEST PRINT
Print Winner: AS Colour: Catalogue 2011.
Sometimes awesome insert can be better than the best print idea.
Execution was Fresh. Idea that activates people and makes a few
wardrobes tidier and is a nice looking catalog too.
Print Runner-Up: Trax: The Subway. Throw ups from the ear must be interesting with fine art direction and 9pts.
BEST OUTDOOR
Outdoor Winner: Amnesty International: Chop pencils.
Brilliant. Hard subject to say anything new and still they managed to
do it. The media thinking is great, chinese restaurant are everywhere.
And the details are done just right. Please bring this to Helsinki.
Outdoor Runner-Up: Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Giant Snow Globe was also great idea and great production. Thumbs up. Second place and 8+pts.
BEST INTERACTIVE
Interactive Winner: Rivella: Kicks and thrills.
We played them, we had fun. We spend five minutes with it. That’s more
than you get from most of the sites out there. The site is refreshingly
stupid and makes you push for more pages.
Interactive Runner-Up: We also like a lot of Nikon: This day 9pts and Mitsubishi: Live Drive 8pts.
