Bestads Top 6 of the Week reviewed by David Alberts, chief creative officer, Mofilm, London

One of the reasons I’m exhausted is that we held a super bowl party in London to celebrate our (MoFilm’s ) Chevy Happy Grad spot and given the super bowl ended at 4 am two nights ago its not surprising that ads that stand out when viewed by 163 million intoxicated American Football supporters will still stand out in my current comatosed state. Super Bowl is about funny and Toyota Camry is funny, men’s and woman’s sofa is funny. I worked on Camry years ago and to make ads that can make Camry seem anything but boring is a a good effort.

Clint felt like it went on longer than Madonna’s half time break and Ferris must have cost more.

(Or should I say Best Multi-media). Beijing Sports Radio. Seems ironic that a Print ad that looks like a poster, advertising a Radio station wins this one but it was the one that I remember and understand.

Hawaii 50, the execution with the gun with the suntan mark is good but I like the 5 Seeds ‘not as sweet as it seems’ cider idea best. It could run for ever but feels a little bit over art directed at the moment.

None of them made me even interested let alone feel active, rather put me to sleep but again that could just be due to the fact that Lynchy is making me finish this before I leave, which is not really a good sign when participation is the key to this category.

Its now 3.20 am.

Time for a quick nap.
