View the behind the scenes video of the Greater Building Society’s new Seinfeld commercials

You’ll see a suit-clad Seinfeld doing a range of stunts including riding a jetski, riding a dirt-bike, wrestling a crocodile, surfing and hanging from a pulley as he talks to a window washer.

Head of marketing John Dwyer says that the commercials, which Seinfeldhelped to write, are designed to highlight that the Greater has farsuperior customer satisfaction levels than the banks: “Despite theGreater’s impressive 95% customer satisfaction rating, Seinfeld is on amission to see what he can do to assist those people who are notcompletely satisfied,” Mr Dwyer says.

Viewers of thebehind the scenes video will get a sneak peek at some of the othercommercials that will air over the next 12 months. Dwyer says “onceJerry lands in Australia he goes to great comedic lengths to talk toeveryday Australians.”

“The Youtube video allows people in otherparts of Australia to see some of this classic Seinfeld humour as wellas the great fun we had making these commercials.”

The commercials were shot over two days in a studio in New York, near the Brooklyn Bridge using a giant green screen.

Dwyersaid Seinfeld went above and beyond the call of duty on this series’shoot as he did on the shoot of the first series of commercials in 2009.

The launch commercial airs on TV screens and on radio from last night in regional NSW, the Gold Coast and in Townsville.
