Clemenger BBDO, Adelaide has just produced a campaign for BankSA’s Advantage Package. More than just a Home Loan, Advantage Package ensures homebuyers don’t have to become boring by providing a tailored solution of exceptional value that puts more money in your pocket.
The commercial features a couple, demonstrating the monotony of entertaining themselves in the confines of their new investment, all to the thrashing soundtrack of The Sex Pistols’ ‘No Fun’.

Great insight. Awesome execution.
Even better, it was probably a shit brief.
Good insight. Looks a lot like my shit life at the moment.
Brave…but God knows what Mr & Mrs Middle Australia will make of this.
It has, though, the makings of a very campaignable idea.
Well done. Best bank ad this year. Even better than Barbara.
that is easily the best bank/home loan ad for so long. Well done-ness.
on ya, Glenn
like it – nice stuff shanahan
Love it. Fresh for category. Great insight/track/talent/scenarios. Congrats to all involved.
Sex pistols and a great insight. Nice work!
thumbs up
Yes it is quite unusual in the category, but not entirely original.
And so far Lynchy, many of the comments are a bit too similar….
couldn’t get the original Stooges track?

The URL on the end of the ad doesn’t work. Awesome.

It made my day.
fake pistols soundalike? certainly not any pistols version i’ve ever heard.
@ 1.54
Whether it’s a soundalike or not is not important. It’s a great ad.
1:54.
I thought the same,
But it is the pistols.
Belly button fluff – seriously where does it come from?
does anyone know how much money the pistols got paid for the use of thier music?
3:06 – ever dried your t-shirts in a dryer?
All the lint that collects in the trap comes from your belly button.
really nice insight.
for a bank ad, that is really good.
well done to all involved.
Great spot, wonderful execution. To be that abstract for a bank is an achievement in itself for all involved. Belly button fluff, bags on heads and psuedo suffocation. Exciting to know good ideas can still get made and made “well” to boot.
Well done to production – casting is top notch.
Gobs all over the Banker/Broker/CU dross in South Oz, maaaaaaaaaaaaan.
