The landscapes, people and experiences of Australia provide inspiration for Tourism Australia’s online marketing campaign, Making Tracks, which uses talented musicians to showcase the destination to an international audience of millions. The Making Tracks campaign pairs up four international classical musicians from the YouTube Symphony Orchestra 2011 with a contemporary Australian musician and sent on a journey of discovery across Australia.The musical pairs were tasked with composing a piece of original music inspired by the trip. Each journey was filmed and is being told through a series of four short musical episodes broadcast on YouTube and via Tourism Australia’s website.

The Surf Life Saving Australia ‘Australian for Life’ campaign is about getting all Australians involved in Surf Life Saving – not just those who live by the beach. It suggests different ways to Give, Get Involved and Be Safe – everything from taking a first aid course to donating money.

Spectators at the Socceroo’s match against New Zealand were encouraged to don a pair of bright yellow undies as they cheered the Australian team to victory, as part of a campaign by the official thirst crusher of the Qantas Socceroos, SOLO. The Solo Lucky Undies out-of-home activity combined large format mobile advertising with experiential marketing plus a billboard campaign across five capital cities. oOh! produced a specially designed fleet of mobile billboards completewith trailers equipped with a clothes line full of Solo Lucky Undies!The Solo Lucky Undies Trucks were supported by oOhfactor! staff handingout the “lucky undies” as well as sampling Solo product.
