Australian production company PHC Films makes prestigious Saatchi & Saatchi New Creators Showcase for Crumpler Sub-3000 campaign

Iconic Australian brand Crumpler’s Sub-3000 campaign by Melbourne’s PHC Films has been included in the prestigious Saatchi & Saatchi New Creators Showcase at the 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

 

PHC Films is the first Australian production company in the last 20 years to be included in the Cannes showcase and it joins esteemed names in the history of film and advertising including Jonathan Glazer, Spike Jonze, Danny Kleinman and Ivan Zaharias to be awarded the honour.

PHC Films, represented by Good Oil in Australia and New Zealand, is the creative collaboration between director / cinematographer John Angus Stewart and producer Max Coles, where authentic and unique characters lie at the heart of their unapologetic brand of storytelling.

Their commercial work debut came in 2023 for Crumpler, with PHC acting as agency, production company, writer and director. The launch took them to Tokyo to unearth rarely seen subcultures. The huge success of the campaign led to the follow up in 2024 for Crumpler’s Sub-3000 campaign.

The Saatchi and Saatchi new Creators Showcase is in its 34th year and is a highlight of the Cannes Lions Festival screening to an international audience of 2,300 at the famous Auditorium Louise Lumiere.
