Australian Planning Group calls for entries to APG Awards – deadline: Monday September 27
The APG Creative Strategy Awards are one month out from the deadline of entry. Monday 27th of September is the last day to enter your great creative thinking and get your name in front of the best strategic brains in the industry.
GPY&R chief strategy officer and planning expert Jon Steel (left) is chairmanof judges and he heads a team of more than 15 judges.
Entry deadline: 12pm, Monday 27 Sept.
Award night: 6.30pm, Thursday 25 Nov.
The awards are all about strategic thinking and this year they’ve beenupdated to reflect the changing nature of the industry; with categorychanges and an added channel strategy stream which should baffle anymum.
In addition special prizes will be awarded for bestinsight, best approach to research, best use of data, best creativebrief and briefing, best non-advertising idea and best under 50k budget.
Theawards are open for anyone interested in showing off their talent forcreative ideas, insights and storytelling. Entries are accepted forwork created in the past two years.
If you’ve never written anAPG paper, it is worth reading previous papers in the APG Awards books- 2004, 2006 and 2008 are all available. We’ve also put a selection ofthe ’08 winning case studies online.
Ensure you know check the rules and get sign-off from clients before submitting your papers.
