Art & Copy a sell out in Melbourne + Sydney
Juniors, seniors and creative directors came together in Melbourne on Monday night for JUNIOR‘s screening of the brilliant advertising documentary Art & Copy, featuring the likes of U.S. ad legends George Lois, Phyllis Robinson and Mary Wells Lawrence who all made their rep at DDB New York, the leader of the 60s Creative Revolution. Later stars are also in the doco, including Hal Riney, Jim Durfee, Lee Clow, Cliff Freeman, Dan Wieden and David Kennedy, plus Jeff Goodby and Rich Silverstein.

The night was a sell-out. Thanks go to AJF Partnership, XYZStudios, Campaign Brief and all the attendees for a great night full ofcreative inspiration.
Art & Copy was also screened in Melbourne last week and last nightin Sydney, which were also sell-out events, organised by the AFAYoungbloods and the Communications Council and sponsored by Whybin\TBWA. (Pics below logos).

Congrats Junior and thanks for a fun night!
Top night. Great film. Every client in the world should see this. Twice. And then be made to carry it around with them in their faux-leather compendiums.
George Lois is my new hero.
Soon as I got home from the film I ordered George Lois’ book $ellebrity.
Delivered to your door for a mere $37 from http://bookdepository.co.uk

Thanks for putting this on Junior. You boys rock.
The book is very good, sure it’s a retrospective on his work, but seeing the way he treated celebrities with irreverence and sometimes nearly contempt instantly gave his work great humour and unfortunately isn’t done more often.
