AME Awards adds digital strategist and Online Circle co-founder Lucio Ribeiro to its grand jury
The AME Awards has appointed senior strategic planner and co-founder of Melbourne based Online Circle, Lucio Ribeiro, to its 2013 grand jury, indicating growing recognition of Australian talent and effectiveness in digital and social media strategy at world standards.
AME Awards, the World’s Most Effective Advertising was established in 1994 to recognise advertising and marketing effectiveness, judging creative and successful marketing strategies across all industry verticals.

Ribeiro’s elite marketing skills were honed early in his career. He was one of Brazil’s youngest and most celebrated advertising professionals during the 1990’s.
With more than 15 years marketing experience, Ribeiro has worked for many of the world’s most prestigious advertising agencies including: McCann-Erickson, Ammiratis Puris Lintas, Lowe, MRM and Ogilvy Brazil. His clientele have included prominent organisations such as General Motors, Unilever, Nestle, Microsoft and Purina.
Ribeiro’s passion and vision for strategic online marketing led him to form The Online Circle where he continues to add his creative flair and vision to The Online Circle’s current clients.
Last year, the AME grand jury awarded BBDO UK the grand AME trophy for their entry “Sandwich” for Pepsico. The platinum trophy went to Grey Melbourne for TAC’s “The Ripple Effect” campaign.
