After 25 years, Selleys leaves The Campaign Palace for BWM after 4-way creative pitch
Belgiovane Williams Mackay, Sydney has won the $4m account for do-it-yourself brand Selleys in a creative pitch involving four other agencies including The Works and the 25 year incumbent The Campaign Palace, Sydney.
The appointment is effective immediately and work is underway to develop a new campaign.
Selleys’ Marketing Director, Stuart Sutherland said: “We’re thrilled tobe working with BWM who we know will be able to apply a freshperspective on marketing our brand and increasing our presence in themarket. Selleys has long been a product that Australian families knowand trust and we believe our partnership with BWM will only cement thisfurther in the minds of consumers.”
BWM Executive CreativeDirector, Rob Belgiovane added: “Our focus on highly integrated workand strong understanding of the long-term needs for big brands is agreat match. BWM is proud to be managing Selleys, one of the country’sbest-known brands.”
For The Palace, the Selleys loss is another blow, coming just weeks after the departure of major client Westpac in mid September.
