Brilliant Films’ director Brendan Young’s “You Only Live Twice – The Incredible True Story of the Hughes Family” has won an AFI Award for Best Documentary.
The film is a delirious and outrageous odyssey into four generations of the Hughes family. A maverick Australian clan of performers and larger than life personalities where legend, duality and contradiction go hand in hand. Where the search for truth leads right back to fiction.
