Acclaimed British director Kathryn Ferguson joins The Producers for representation

True talent knows no bounds. So even from 17,000km away, Australian creatives can now engage the talents of London- based director Kathryn Ferguson thanks to a new partnership with The Producers.

Ferguson boasts a creative pedigree in film directing that is quite unlike any other. After being raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland, she has made a name for herself as a filmmaker whose work intersects with socio-political themes. Her commercial, doco and short film work has garnered awards all over the world and she’s completed projects for brands such as Nike, Air France, Amnesty International and Vogue.

Aside from her director projects, Ferguson has also held some significant roles that have enhanced her film creds. She has worked at Selfridges as its resident film director and consultant, allowing her to creatively manage campaigns involving fashion, beauty as well as exploring themes around women in modern society.

She has also held a Fashion Film Research Fellowship at the London College of Fashion, and if that’s not enough, she also acts as film curator for various organisations.

Says Victoria Conners, executive producer, The Producers: “At The Producers we’ve been huge fans of Kathryn’s work which is not only visually stunning but intelligent, so we are thrilled to have her on the roster.”

Check out some of Kathryn’s work here and you’ll discover a director with a truly unique style combining arresting visuals, creative choreography, subtle humour and brilliant art direction.
