The Committee, chaired by Iain McDonald from Amnesia Razorfish, Sydney, is well advanced with its ‘Digital University’ project for which it is engaging with other industry bodies in order to identify and offer the education that is needed in this fast evolving space.

Additionally the Committee is set to review the Communication Council’s Code of Ethics with a view to including Social Media Guidelines for agencies, promoting good use of social media and social responsibility in digital.

On the mobile front, the Committee is investigating ways to utilise mobile more effectively as a method of charitable funds collection with a view to ensuring that donations reach charities in full.
