RAMON-ROSS.jpgThe ad industry will be saddened to hear of the passing of Ray Ross, one of Australia’s finest copywriters, aged 67.

During the 70s, Ross worked at Young & Rubicam in Sydney in its heyday, as well as Y&R in London. In around 1980, he joined Clemenger Sydney as a creative group head – working with the likes of John Bailey, Warwick Majcher and Dickie Dearing – where he remained until illness forced him out of the industry in the early 90s.

He is survived by well-known former agency producer Debbie, his wife of over 40 years.
