Simkins (near left)has worked at Saatchi & Saatchi and Leo Burnett where he worked on the McDonald’s ‘Name It Burger’ campaign – the most effective burger launch in McDonald’s history in Australia.

Says ECD Julian Watt: “The integrated nature of our work calls for a seamless marriage of thought and action, where insight, idea and execution work together harmoniously. This calls for a different approach to who sits where and does what.”

Adds managing director Phil McDonald: “Our plan requires multidimensional talent working together and firing off each other. We’re delighted to have Michaela, Luke and Hamish sitting at the agency table.

“Patts Sydney had a very good year with some first class work for our existing business and 10 new clients through the door. These new appointments will set us up well for an ever better performance next year.”
