Well done Dustin
Well done guys, wish I was there to have a beer with you today.
Special thanks to the @radical team – Zach, Rob G, Michael & Luke.
Nick
Well Done Saatchi…Mr Bullock and the Prodigy team.
Border Patrol is going to be interesting to watch this year at the different award shows.
nice one dreamboat/dustin
Radical is now the undisputed King of Reality TV.
VB was their last commercial.
On ya Hawko, well deserved
This is why ad shows are silly. Six Beers no matter how good, was watched by about 50 people. Much like BMF’s Ducks gold cannes campaign.
I do agree Head Shaker but they do have a Gold freakin Lion sitting there (or a Silver One Show pencil).
Reality TV bores me silly.
congrats.
that’s an award for the 6 beers submission piece, because the actual work was utterly ignored and ignorable.
Dear Head Shaker
700,000+ online viewers isn’t bad is it?
Love your cynicism
Doesn’t the word entertainment mean it needs to be entertaining, not just long? Sorry, that’s in regards to 6 beers…painfully boring. Border Security was okay, but wasn’t it just a long ad?
It’s amazing how many uneducated comments there are on this blog.
Is this the show that cracked down on scam last year?
Is the reason there’s only 22 medalists because everything else was shit, or because most agencies didn’t enter anything for fear of getting busted?
What a bunch of useless whingers. You should all go home and count the One Show awards you have. Congrats 6 Beers – a unique and interesting project. Most of the people here wouldn’t have the opprtunity nor the talent to deliver work like that.
Congratulaions Carol B. Ong and BBH, China for a job very well done.
700,000 views? That’s funny. Go to the youtube page and you see:
700 Views etc etc
mmm
Well done Vinnie and Stebe.
One of many to come for Toyota Border Security I’m sure.
Border rocks. Deserves Gold.
But hey, how many award shows are there now?
It’s like I took a shit this morning and there’s an award show for it.
Headshaker, quit while you’re ahead. You have no idea what you’re talking about.
I’ve actually judged 6 Beers at another an award show last, and it was made clear that Youtube wasn’t the main point of distribution. In fact, it seems that it was a minor one. Part of the appeal of this campaign for me was that the content was accessed via so many different channels.
So before you make any more uneducated comments, I’d take a look at all the media channels it went through (Foxtel, iTunes, Facebook, Myspace, Vice, Heavy, etc etc)
I think it’s an interesting idea, but if you don’t like the campaign, make sure it’s for the right reasons.
9:12…There is an award show for your shit. Next time, take a photo and upload to ratemypoo.com. Good luck!
Radical Reality TV
Just wondering… Does the One Show happen at different times than the States One Show…? Because we are just entering ours now.
210 fans for 6 Beers on Facebook is hardly earth-shjattering either.
WELL DONE RUSSELL!
TH.
Where did Border play? Was that just online as well?
Did either of these ever go any wider than the internet? Besides FoxTel On Demand, which, much like the worldwideweb, will post anything, if they get it for free.
True entertainment has an audience. Hopefully, this year Australia will actually produce some content that cuts through.
so give it a media award if it was available through so many channels. if you judge it as content…it was boring and dull.
To all the negative cocks,
They won, you didn’t.
Fuck off.
Move on.
Do something better.
This gives me an idea for a reality TV show.
Well done Hawko!!
