8com goes Feb Free for Tanzanian students

Gemma and students.jpgThis time last year the ad industry, via Sydney TVC company 8com, raised over $15,000 for the School of St Jude, which was put towards classroom construction.

Set up by a young Australian woman, Gemma Sisia (left), only nine years ago, St Judes receives no Government assistance and now educates almost 1500 students. It’s a great story.

Says 8com managing director/EP Mike Vanderfield: “They were incredibly appreciative and have asked us to do it again. This year I’m making FEB FREE of  3 VICES …… CHOCOLATE, COFFEE & ALCOHOL. The overall Feb Free target this year is $100K. ANY donation is greatly appreciated. Even better, do it yourself. It feels good.”
