ADMA 30Below Group to launch in Brisbane at The Villager on Thursday, January 31st at 6:30pm
The Association for Data-Driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) has announced something very cool for the hot Brisbane summer – its latest 30Below group will launch in the city at 6:30pm, 31 January, held at The Villager on 185 George St, Brisbane. Tickets cost $25.
A new networking and social group for all Queensland marketers, creatives and advertisers aged under 30, ADMA 30Below Brisbane will give the state’s youngest industry members a much-needed forum for networking and professional development.
Says Jodie Sangster, ADMA CEO: “It’s important that we give something back to our industry’s youngest members. They need a forum of their own to network, develop their skills and learn from their peers and industry experts.”
In addition to the social aspect, the Brisbane launch party will feature advice and tips from three dynamo marketers who will discuss their careers and take questions from the audience:
· Sam Zivot, digital strategist, Lorna Jean
· Andrew Murrell, general manager, digital and direct channels, Bank of Queensland
· Joe Talcott, former creative chief of News Lab, a creative division of News Ltd.
Zivot, Murrell and Talcott will also get the chance to quiz audience members about their work.
30Below Brisbane has been organised by enthusiastic young marketers and advertisers in Queensland from companies like Gourmet Garden, Word of Mouth, Brisbane Marketing, Sensis and Nous Marketing.
Says Emma Judd, marketing executive, Brisbane Marketing: “30Below gives me the opportunity to network with and learn from young marketing professionals whom I otherwise may not get to meet in my everyday work life.”
It is expected the 30Below Brisbane Committee will organise four to six events a year.
30Below groups were launched by ADMA in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne last year. Check out the photos from previous launches here.
