Call for entries for Qantas Spirit of Youth Awards photography category – deadline 2pm Tues, Feb 5
The Qantas Spirit of Youth Awards (SOYA 365) are calling for entries for the programs first category of 2013, the hotly contested photography category which closes 2pm Tuesday, February 5th.
Year in and year out, the photography category attracts some of the most exciting young talents in the country. Last year Raphaela Rosella came out on top with her raw and confronting photographic works (pictured). SOYA has also produced an inspirational video based around the celebration event held to honour the 2012 winners and welcome the next exciting chapter of SOYA.
Keep an eye out for hotspots in July and October; months in which there are two category deadlines. Film & Video and Animation in July and Architecture & Interior Design and Craft & Object Design in October. Every other month has a single deadline.
Each year SOYA365 introduces industry icons to new talent from across the country, connecting finalists and winners with global creative networks, generously sharing their time and years of experience.
