Former BMF Sydney creative directors Dennis Koutoulogenis (DK) and Jake Rusznyak form ilk, a creative partnership with a team of 8 creatives
Former BMF Sydney creative directors Dennis Koutoulogenis (DK) and Jake Rusznyak, have announced the formation of ilk, a creative partnership.
The two previously worked together for four years, producing campaigns such as Solo Lucky Undies and the Sam Kekovich Australia Day Lamb work. DK left BMF at the end of last year after an eight year stint.
ilk, which was quietly established earlier in the year, is a collective of people of a similar creative ilk, to work with like-minded partners, clients and brands.
Host immediately partnered with ilk on a number of briefs and brands, including Bankwest and SPC.
During 2012, the team and briefs have grown, and ilk now has a team of eight creatives, including recent arrivals Bjorn Ingenleuf, a senior writer from Jung Von Matt and art director Jess Evans, previously at Colenso BBDO, Auckland.
According to DK and Jake: “Our aim is to build ilk into a nimble, boutique creative offering, producing the sort of work we’ve become known for: effective campaigns that make brands famous, and are not only recognised by our peers, but just as importantly, by the average consumer.”

Congrats guys, best of luck x
Strange quote, surely clients pay for work that sells to people beyond the blog first. Can’t see many smart clients knocking on that door.
Awesome guys! Looking forward to following your work!
