Screen shot 2012-11-05 at 10.24.51 PM.jpgGuide Dogs NSW/ACT has launched its new ‘Experience Unseen’ campaign via The Monkeys.

The idea and message is simple: what a person with impaired vision experiences as they explore familiar places – the city, the bush, the ferry – can be just as beautiful and evocative and stimulating as what someone with 20/20 vision experiences.

The services that Guide Dog NSW/ACT provides, gives people with vision impairment the mobility they need to independently experience the places we take for granted. This idea is brought to life in a beautiful and emotive way by photographer, Simon Harsent, and a soundtrack by one of the most famous and innovative contemporary composers in the world of music, Brian Eno.

Says Charles Ulm, marketing and communications manager, Guide Dogs NSW/ACT: “Through the ‘Experience Unseen’ campaign the Monkeys have once again created a wonderful and thought provoking series of ads in which Guide Dogs NSW/ACT can engage with our supporters. By depicting very iconic sensory experiences in each of the ads, the idea gives us the opportunity to demonstrate how important independence is for someone with vision loss.”

The spots will run in NSW across Metro and Regional television networks.
