Hunt begins for GOLDen ticket to XXXX island
The hunt is now on across Australia to find 12 unique cans and bottles hidden in cartons of XXXX GOLD. Each hand-painted treasure will secure the lucky winner a trip to XXXX Island for them and three of their mates valued at $10,000.
As part of the promotion, XXXX GOLD will also hold weekly prize draws to give away an additional 12 trips to the island through the XXXX GOLD website.
Says Anna McMillan, XXXX marketing manager: “We like to think of XXXX Island as the ultimate destination for mates’ trips away. What better way to reward our consumers than by giving them the chance to score some of the first trips to the island, simply by doing what they already do – enjoying XXXX GOLD.”
The hand-painted cans and bottles were commissioned by Momentum Worldwide. Each bottle and can took 12 hours to complete.
In March 2012, XXXX GOLD announced it had acquired an island, XXXX Island, just for its drinkers. The 15-acre island on the Southern Great Barrier Reef is designed to be the ultimate destination for mates’ trips away, a place where you can experience what XXXX GOLD terms the ‘good life’ – a relaxing few days with your mates where you can do as little, or as much, as you want with activities including fishing, touch footy, beach cricket, swimming in the ocean or simply barbecuing the catch of the day with a beer in hand.
