Iloura Advertising snares Lars Magnus Holmgren for head of CG and director of animation role
Iloura Advertising in Melbourne has appointed Lars Magnus Holmgrenas its new Head of CG and director of animation, taking over from JoshSimmonds, who is moving over to Iloura’s film department.
Holmgren joins the Iloura team with an impressive list of stints atDouble Negative, MPC, Buck and most recently Againstallodds, Rushes andLocomotion UK, working with international brands including Coca Cola, Sony,Nintendo and completing broadcast work for the BBC, MTV and the DiscoveryChannel.
Says Hamish Macdonald, executive producer of advertising at Iloura: “Lars is an experienced and seasoned VFX supervisor as well asa creative animation director with a hands-on approach. He has an extensiveportfolio, solid global brand experience and has been recognised with a host ofawards, including three silver Lions.

Holmgren joins the team during a time of significant growth for IlouraAdvertising in Melbourne.
