1.jpgLeading global brand consultancy, FutureBrand, has strengthened its Australian operation with two new international recruits – design director Luis Coderque, and account director Tanya Sulewski.

Coderque joins FutureBrand with 16 years’ experience as a creative professional in Europe, working for Landor Associates and most recently Saffron in Madrid. He has created identities and communications platforms for a wealth of international brands including PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Kellogg’s, Wrigley and Telefonica.

Sulewski moves to FutureBrand Australia having worked at the company’s London headquarters for over ten years where she has co-ordinated international projects in brand strategy, identity and innovation. Some of her previous clients include Microsoft, Yahoo!, Unilever, Nestle and Diageo.

Says managing director of FutureBrand Australia, Erminio Putignano: “We are excited to be welcoming Luis and Tanya. Between them, they have worked on a who’s-who list of iconic brands across the globe. They will bring valuable ideas and perspectives from other markets. They will also help expand our sphere of influence beyond Australia. Over the last few years, our portfolio of projects has expanded towards Asia, the Pacific and the US. To drive that expansion, we’ve been building one of the most international teams in the country.”

Of his appointment, Coderque said: “It is a privilege to be joining a consultancy that has such a good reputation not only in Australia, but across the world. It is an exciting time to be joining the FutureBrand team, working on some of the biggest brands the Asia-Pacific region has to offer.”

Sulewski added: “I’m looking forward to offering an international perspective to some fresh challenges in the Asia-Pacific market.  Joining the Australian team from our London office is a further demonstration of the close collaboration and strong culture within our international network.”

Sulewski is the second employee in the last six months to be recruited within FutureBrand’s global network following the arrival of Sally McNeill from Milan, Italy, as client services director last September.

Coderque and Sulewski join FutureBrand following a successful year for the company’s Australian operation, which has seen the branding agency complete major projects for Cricket Australia and the inaugural T20 Big Bash League, Hayman Island, Crown and TRUenergy, and has been appointed by Luxottica, Witchery, ANZ, the International Cricket Council and the Australian Government among others.

New hires are expected to be announced in the next few weeks across the design, strategy and account management teams.
