ship song2.jpgThe Monkeys have been named Australian Creative Advertising Hotshop for the second year running.

They’ve also picked up the coveted “Idea of the Year” for The Ship Song Project, which they created for the Sydney Opera House.

Their campaigns for clients including IKEA, Paramlat and UBank and also their continued development of creative talent helped secure the title.

The win comes off the back of winning B&T Agency of the Year and Campaign Brief NSW Agency of the Year.

Says Justin Drape, co-founder/executive creative director of The Monkeys: “Last year we thought that winning the Hotshop of the Year gong was a fluke, but apparently not. We’re now focussing on new projects but the Ship Song project is something that we’re all proud of and it’s the result of a successful collaboration with the Sydney Opera House team.”

Mark Green, co-founder/CEO of the Monkeys said: “We are very humbled by the accolades and thank our clients and staff for backing the business. Also, a big congratulations to Victoria and the team at the Sydney Opera house.”
