McCann-Erickson loses out as J&J consolidates Stayfree and Carefree brands with 303Lowe
Johnson & Johnson Pacific announced today that it is consolidating advertising for its Stayfree and Carefree brands with 303Lowe, Sydney, the current agency for the Carefree brand.
The Stayfree account was previously held by McCann-Erickson, Sydney.
Johnson & Johnson Pacific advised that is was looking to consolidate the company’s Sanitary Protection portfolio with one agency in order to plan and develop the brands in unison. Johnson & Johnson Pacific indicated that the agency’s strategic and creative capabilities contributed to 303Lowe’s appointment to the business.
Says Nick Cleaver, CEO, 303Lowe: “We are delighted to be working with the Sanitary Protection team across the portfolio. We share the optimism and ambition for the opportunity for both brands within the category.”
The consolidation of the business for 303Lowe means the account has nearly doubled in revenue for 2012.
303Lowe begins work on Stayfree effective immediately.
