The latest installment in Fallon’s “Just the right amount of wrong” campaign for The cosmopolitan of Las Vegas premiered during the 2012 Grammy’s.
The spot has plenty of Aussie and Kiwi involvement, with Fallon’s chief creative officer Darren Spiller, group creative director Leon Wilson, head of art Christy Peacock and head of content TVP all Aussie expats – while the spot was directed by kiwi Steve Ayson via New Zealand headquartered international production company The Sweet Shop.

Sweet Jesus. The right amount of wrong? The wrong amount of right is closer to the mark.
When did advertising become shit?
The Spiller “snowball”. He uses the same old tired approach to all his work. Starts small and then gets bigger and bigger and the end reveal is normally a wide shot of lots of people or things. To date noting has been great. Just mediocre. This one just goes from bad to worse.
Time to try the “ambush” Darren. That’s when you surprise your audience.
