Arnold Furnace Sydney launches print and outdoor ‘Hitchhikers’ campaign for Peugeot
Arnold Furnace, Sydney has created a new print and outdoor campaign for Peugeot.
Breaking in February, the campaign has been created to highlight the Peugeot 308 Touring and its impressive panoramic glass roof.

The roof floods the cabin with light and space providing a window on the world and a feeling of being at one with your surroundings. Titled ‘Hitchhikers’, the campaign shows various outdoors elements trying to hitch a ride in the car with the strapline ‘Let the Outside World In’.
Says Tom Spicer, joint national creative director, Arnold Furnace: “The challenge with all car advertising is to hero the product and still have room for a creative idea. This campaign strikes that balance well and makes its point with imagination and wit.”

AWARD School standard at best
Sweet idea, nicely executed. Praise be.
Juvenile advertising that does nothing more than conform to a certain fashion for wordless advertising. If your selling point is a panoramic roof, at least show the bloody thing. Or the view from it. If the kids who came up with this campaign think the sort of serious insects who they’re asking to part with $50,000 odd for this sort of car will be seduced, let alone persuaded by childish fluff like this, they’re living in a non-commercial world filled with fluffy rabbits, unicorns and fairy floss.
AHA!
Nice work lads.
Fresh print. Like it a lot.
Just shame it’s a sunroof and not a convertible.
Still good.
Ahhh… I remember print ads. Nice work lads.
good execution of the idea, although I agree that this isn’t really enough to convince people to buy. Impress the customer and then the advertising fraternity.
