aqua4.jpgEngine director Scotty Wilcox has created a tvc for ‘The Aqua Exhibition’ at the Australian Maritime Museum through Jim Jam Ideas.

Aqua was created by One Drop, an initiative of Guy Lailberté, founder of Cirque du Soleil and will be at the Australian National Maritime Museum until 26th Feb 2012.

scotty 2.jpgSays Wilcox: “To be working with people of this calibre and for the important environmental message of water conservation made the hard work worthwhile. The value of such a precious resource had to be accounted for each step of the way. After each presentation we adapted shots and script as required, and shot many additional options to give the client utmost flexibility in the end result.”

The TVC was shot on Engine’s new RED Epic camera.

Wilcox added: “This job was the first project for the Epic @ Engine since we took delivery late last year. Its 300fps abilities and shooting at a huge resolution gave us the freedom to design the required cinematic treatment that would invoke the deep emotional response.”

Wilcox is known for his high level vfx and post knowledge, and this live action tvc again shows the diversity of range that he offers as a director.
