Eric Bana and a cast of thousands draw line in the sand for St Kilda Football Club in new spot via Spike Creative, Melbourne and SceneOn
SceneOn’s director / DoP Matt Chuang was asked by Spike Creative to bring to life their new St Kilda Football Club ‘Line in the Sand’ TVC.
Eric Bana provided the voice-over for the ad, which was shot over five locations with three cameras, including one mounted on a helicopter.
Thousands of extras took part in the shoot, braving early morning thunderstorms to draw a line in the sand for their club.
All post was completed at SceneOn and the results couldn’t be anything less than epic.

I really likes this ad, look forward to seeing more from these guys.
Shit team. Good ad.
Its great to see football clubs paying the money to create brand spots. Finally they are starting to keep with the big European spots. Great job and i dont even like football.
MC your getting noticed, well done mate
i was in the line, great job boys.
I like it. Would also make a nice ad for border protection.
Very nicely done, Matt.
Bloody good job, the morning of the shoot was the storm from hell.
How the f$@k is his good? Really.
Rubbish that’s worse than the team itself.
Just coz it’s a helicopter shoot doesn’t make it good.
The helicopter does give it energy and drive the idea.
