Aussie expat Shayne Pooley departs OgilvyOne Hong Kong for ECD role at RedWorks Singapore
RedWorks Singapore has announced the appointment of Aussie expat Shayne Pooley as executive creative director. Pooley will join the RedWorks Singapore team in mid January 2012, moving across from OgilvyOne Hong Kong.
“RedWorks in Singapore has seen dramatic growth over the last few years and the company is now evolving to the next stage of its development. Shayne’s appointment brings the creative edge to our already strong leadership team,” says Rob Doswell, managing director, RedWorks Singapore. “His management experience, 360 degree creative skills and his ability to drive quality across the team will be invaluable to the RedWorks team and our clients.”
“Moving to head up RedWorks in Singapore is an exciting, new challenge. I have worked across different disciplines within Ogilvy and this role provides the opportunity to take that experience into one team and build a truly integrated offering including broadcast, digital, on and offline creative as well as production services,” says Pooley.
An Ogilvy veteran, Pooley joined the company in 1995 in Melbourne and has worked in Singapore and Hong Kong for OgilvyOne. He has been recognised at the Echoes and Caples and won at Cannes, the One Show, London International Awards, New York Festivals, Asia Pacific Awards, Adfest, Communication Arts, Times Asia and the Clios.

Well done Shayne. Hope the family is well.
Is that really something worth PR’ing about? Looks like a step down to me. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Well done, Shayne!
