AWARD Awards extends entry deadline to close of business this Friday, 25th November
In light of numerous requests for extension, AWARD Awards entrants have now got until close of business this Friday 25th November to submit final entries.
Following the close of entries AWARD will be appointing juries under the guidance of R/GA New York chief creative officer Nick Law, the chairman of judges.
Law is regarded as one of the most influential creative people in the digital field, in charge of defining the creative vision of one of the world’s most admired digital agencies. He’s internationally recognised as a thought leader and has been awarded for his work with enviable brands such as Nike, Walmart, HBO, Johnson and Johnson, IBM, L’Oreal and Google.
The 2011 program saw the introduction of a new category in Promotion and Experiential, which focuses on awarding creativity in promotional campaigns, as well as the launch of a New Product Development category honouring new, innovative and manufactured products for brands and clients. Both categories saw strong interest in their first year running.
Other changes to the AWARD awards included the launch of a special award for Production Company of the Year, as well as changes to the Radio, Digital and Craft in Film categories.
The AWARD show will take place on March 29, 2012, as part of The Communications Council’s Circus to be held between March 27-29, 2012.

Poor form AWARD.
Doesn’t this business run on deadlines?
And if one extension isn’t enough it should be tough titty. To repeatedly extend the deadline makes a mockery out of the agencies that get their shit together in time to enter the show.
