With rugby world cup fever at its height, Lynx, via Soap Creative, has unveiled a web film that provocatively tackles the rules to rugby.
Since September 19 the video has clocked over 870,000 views, by far the most viewed on the Lynx Australia YouTube channel.

That is the best ad in the history of the world. Ever.

What were they demonstrating again?
Ditto with

as well
I don’t like it.
Great sound design.
Trying very hard to keep it professional.
Takes a licking and keeps on kicking.
That’s a swiss fucking watch
Timex… not sure if it was Swiss though.
cough cough… American lingerie football league ripoff..cough cough..
Haters gonna hate, Lovers gonna love.
Sexism sells.
This has to be one of the most unoriginal ideas ever made. Why do they even let digital agencies do creative???

Hey 3:57, that is one of the most ignorant comments I’ve ever seen.
Yeah, I for one would much rather see a load of deer aimlessly roaming about a city. At night. Doing nothing. Much.
Boobs and camel toes: you Soap boys rule.
Wow,
A borrowed idea and SOAP paid for those YouTube views.
Any real rugby fan will know that the Video has been placed across all the live streaming/veetle sites for the RWC 2011 in a ‘forced to click box’ as part of a pay for YouTube views campaign.
Soap, you must be so proud. Borrowed idea and paid for views.
When will clients wake up to this sort of stuff?
We all know these aren’t real Kiwil girls, because they’re actually hot.
Thought it had a nice feel to it…
Who gives a shit if it’s been done. It’s the kind of idea that can be done over and over and over again, not get old and still kick goals (or make tries).
As long as there are “women” that are “sexy” and willing to be so for “cash” we will find this sort of work returning again and again. Personally i’m in favour of sexy women with questionable scruples.
Got nothing against women prancing around suggestively but this is just a shit idea that should never make a blog that claims to champion creativity.
Look at the success of Apple. They relabel 2 year old Technology with the letter “i”, but they make it super sexy. Nothing wrong with borrowing if its better then the original 😉 and honestly what hasn’t been done before. Ditto “I like dear said – September 27, 2011 4:44 PM”
Tit’s a great thought.
Can we please have it in 3D.
We have the technology according to
http://www.campaignbrief.com/2011/09/an-oped-by-james-stewart-from.html
And next time that there are tits
that are claiming to be advertising
instead of calling themselves porn
can we please not all just say
‘seen it’ or ‘copied’ as they are indeed
comments that I have seen copied before.
Down.
Touch.
Engage. 😉
