Thirty International filmmakers to attend Harbour City Film Feast 2011 IQ Conference to be held in Sydney September 25 to October 2
The guiding principle of The Harbour City Film Feast is not only an intense week of creative, marketing and business exchanges but also to showcase the best of Australia – our locations, infrastructure, services and facilities as well as our fabulous food and wines.
With a dynamic group of international filmmakers from six continents of the globe, representing more than forty-five countries, the opportunity for such a group as this to visit our shores is unique and unprecedented.

The International Quorum of Motion Picture Producers is a global group of filmmakers who share ideas, discuss their work, explore new avenues of film technology, strengthen networks and seek project partnerships, whilst developing international connections throughout the world.
Founded in 1966, IQ is the only global organisation dedicated to film production company owners. IQ is exclusive with membership by invitation only, and admission follows careful selection criteria, requiring high industry standards. Members must be industry- acknowledged professionals who in their time have produced multi-million dollar feature films, TV series dramas, documentaries, corporate and advertising projects with clients such as Coca Cola, McDonalds, Nestle, Volkswagen, Toyota, Panasonic and Sony.
Each year, an IQ member hosts and presents their region at the Conference – 2011 is Sydney’s time to shine, with host Donna Svanberg, (pictured) executive producer of Capitol Productions.
Svanberg has been an IQ member for fourteen years and is vice president of communications on the IQ board of directors.

The conference program highlights the influence of technology on the film industry, featuring the effect of social media on marketing processes, and the extension of augmented reality. Each film genre has dedicated session times, supported by input from a variety of inspiring guest speakers.
