Leo Burnett Sydney leads Aussie agency pack at shortlist stage of Spikes Asia in Singapore
Leo Burnett, Sydney leads the Australian agency pack at the shortlist stage of the Spikes Asia Awards currently underway in Singapore.
Leo Burnett Sydney has been shortlisted 14 times, followed by Whybin\TBWA]\Tequila Sydney and DDB Melbourne with eight apiece. JWT Melbourne, JWT Sydney and Clermenger BBDO Melbourne have five apiece. Leo Burnett Melbourne has four entries shortlisted followed by The Monkeys Sydney, Euro RSCG Sydney, McCann Sydney and Clemenger BBDO, Sydney with three apiece.
55 jury members are currently in Singapore judging the best creative advertising and communications from Asia Pacific. The winners of the Spikes Asia Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony tomorrow night at the Esplanade Theatre in Singapore.
Opening yesterday, delegates are already benefitting from the rich content programme which is now fully underway. Yesterday saw seminars from Coca-Cola, CASBAA and Cheil Worldwide whilst this morning has already seen Yahoo! and JWT take to the stage. The rest of the day sees a further 10 seminars and 3 workshops from the likes of Campaign Asia Pacific, DDB and Renren. The Festival programme continues into the night with Networking After Dark; an evening of fun, networking and drinks with the offices of JWT, Lowe Asia Pacific, McCann Worldgroup, Ogilvy & Mather and Starcom MediaVest opening their doors to registered delegates.
The Young Spikes Integrated Competition kicked-off yesterday with teams having to create an exciting and eye-catching campaign in just 48 hours for the Singapore Red Cross and the Young Spikes Media Competition also started with teams creating an innovative media strategy for the Breast Cancer Foundation. Competitors are asked to present to dedicated juries before the winners are honoured on stage with their gold medal at the Awards Ceremony.
