The list also includes The Blue Group, Studio Pounce, day&age, DiDonato, Freeform, TANK Branding, Helsinki, Trusscorp and Nexus.

The digital categories were dominated by Visual Jazz, followed by Lifelounge, Bliss Media, DTDesign, Native Digital and Boffswana.

The awards will be held on Friday 14th October and tickets will go on sale at the end of next week.

Ben Welsh, Chairman of Judges, sent these comments which were read out at the lunch yesterday: “It was great fun to be involved in MADC again after all these years, but sad to discover Phil Webster has stopped cutting tape.

“The best work was amongst the best work you’d see anywhere in the world and in most categories the standard of entries was pretty hire – there were few embarrassing moments of what the fuck were they thinking. That would explain the number of finalists.

“The jurors were a pleasure to work with, in fact it was the friendliest judging I’ve ever been involved in.

Perhaps the good spirit lead to a spirit of genorosity, but if you see Gold on October 14, you can be sure you earned it.
