Is an SUV powerful enough to tow a mountain of snow up a mountain? Ford engineer Damian Lavric and agency JWT Melbourne decided to find out in the latest execution of the brand’s ‘Feel the Difference’ campaign.
The campaign includes TV, online and in-program content featuring Ford ambassadors, the Klims, on Better Homes and Gardens and The Renovators.

Able to tow a mountain of snow up a mountain – one molehill at a time.
So what?
A brand new 4wd that can drive up a hill half a dozen times with a trailer full of ice.
Are you kidding?
That’s just the most average piece of creative I’ve seen for a long time.
I didn’t mind the one with the sheila that drove to see all her facebook friends on one tank of diesel. I understand that.
But this.
Why didn’t they just drive to threadbo?
Or off a cliff.
I will buy one because the Klims are ambassadors. That makes the purchase attractive to me, as I am aspirational and wish to be linked closely to the glamour that follows the Klims everywhere they go.
The Klims. Mmmmmmmmmm.
When is someone going to put Klim in a Milk commercial?
Beeeeeeeeeaaaaaaannnnnnnssssssssyyyyyy
Awsome Job Damo ( : Great Ad!
Nothing like a long black hose spewing a thick white substance to help sell a semi-powerful truck to the real men of Oz, ey?
I’m guessing that the safety glasses are to help keep the spew out of their eyes, but whatever the reason for the fashion accessories, Built Ford Tough has definitely crossed the line of sexual preference with this one, and I’m guessing that the Klims and a good part of the male populace of Australia aren’t even aware of the real reasons they’ll be attracted to this spot.
Feel the difference indeed.
Stick to Parko and Fanning
I saw this the other night and liked it. It’s a product demo, but at least I didn’t think it was tripe.
When you engineer and build a car which can tow 2.7 tonnes you shouldn’t leave it up to 3 idiots who can’t afford a lift ticket to see if you’re right
If you were one of the tens of thousands of tradies, lugging your tools around in a trailer, you’d know that the Holden Ute is only rated for 1.5 tonne (or near) and that 2.7t is a mighty payload.
Firstly, what traddie would drive this Soccer Mum car? Secondly, how many traddies would tow 2.7 tonne? Ever?
This campaign is about as lame as that whale thing they did.
The idea is the lads creating the snow mountain.
It didn’t need the Ford chap getting in the way of the ‘fun’.
Another failure from JWT Melbourne. You guys haven’t produced a good Ford ad since that sexy German engineers Ghost parody for Fiesta.
Awesome Ad! I want one and go make snow up our local hill now. 🙂
It’s still a big black hose spewing a thick white substance.
Ford, don’t ask, don’t tell.
Ms Smith.
Hahahah.
I get it.
Where was this commercial filmed?
It’s a “Ford” a 4WD it can tow a trailer !!!. Other than waste money doing so just what do the wanker’s that dreamt up this ad hope to achieve.
I must have seen this ad 20 times and NOT ever paid attention.
