U.S. design and typography legend Tony DiSpigna set for Sydney visit next week

They are offering group discounts of 5 tickets for $100 to encourage creative teams at agencies to attend.

tony_work_.jpgTony Di Spigna has worked and been involved in nearly all aspects of communication design. From corporate identity, to logos and trademarks packaging, editorial design, promotion, point of sale, exhibition, posters, architectural typographics, environmental, film and television and industrial graphics, as well as designing new typefaces for mass distribution and exclusive typefaces for corporate clients as well as creator of the Serif Gothic typeface.

He was a partner with the legendary studio Herb Lubalin Associates. He has taught at the School of Visual Arts and is currently teaching at The New York Institute of Technology and

Pratt Institute in New York. He has lectured in the United States and abroad and since he enjoys traveling, looks forward to any opportunity to lecture as a means of continuing his educational journey.

At present he is a co-founder and partner of Thinstroke, LLC. A full service design and

consulting studio specializing in branding and corporate identity and all other areas of graphic communications design.
