AWARD members: Voting closes tomorrow for new AWARD committee from list of nominations
Following a recent call for nominations, AWARD has a group of members keen to bring their ideas, energy and enthusiasm to the AWARD Committee. The following is a message from AWARD chairman Craig Davis to members:
Now it’s time for you to make your vote count by nominating the people you feel are best suited to taking up a position on the committee. There are three positions available, with at least one of these being a Melbourne representative.
What are we looking for in a committee member?
It’s a simple but important brief.
Creative credentials.
We’re looking for a diversity of skills and thinking, so the person you vote for might be from agency, design, production, music, digital, fashion, architecture, photography or media backgrounds.
Commitment.
Above all else, they will have a commitment and passion for the industry. They will care enough about the industry to want to give something back.
Having made great progress in the last 12 months it’s time to build the momentum and AWARD is only as strong, dynamic and powerful as the people who participate in it.
Committee members play an important role in growing membership, providing new opportunities for creative talent and raising the profile of commercial creativity in the business community.
