gluesociety-insight.jpgAustralian INfront, the creative community webspace, is presenting a talk by The Glue Society at the Apple Store in Sydney’s George Street at 6.30 pm on Wednesday July 27th.

Two members of the group, Jonathan Kneebone and James Dive, will be discussing the way the independent creative collective operates – particularly how they balance art and commerce.

Recently the group were awarded the Major Prize at the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition in Aarhus, Denmark as well as directing the PR Grand Prix winning NAB ‘Break Up’ campaign for Clemenger BBDO Melbourne via production company Will O’Rourke.

The past six months alone has seen various members of the group direct spots for agencies Leo Burnett in Thailand (TMB Panyee FC), Madre in Argentina (1882 Ansiosos y Capuchon) and AMV BBDO in London (Doritos Dip Desperado) all available to view on BestAds.

In addition, the group’s controversial video clip for Son of Kick is to be featured at the OneDotZero Festival in London later this year.

The hour long talk is supported by Apple and is free to attend or listen to via podcast.
