Simon Vicar’s Cannes Diary – Day Three from the Cannes Radio Lions jury room

| | No Comments

SIMON-VICARS-Day-Two.JPGSimon Vicars, senior creative at DDB, is New Zealand’s representative on the Radio jury. He has just finished day three of judging and writes exclusively for Campaign Brief. Other Aussie and Kiwi jurors will be contributing exclusively to the CB Blog over the next week, so make sure you check in daily, hourly, every minute…

The radio shortlist is finished and New Zealand doesn’t feature at all.

Please don’t burn my house down.

Some stuff was very close, but I’m sure that’s little consolation to those awaiting the results. If it makes you feel any better the UK didn’t get a single thing either. South Africa and South America on the other hand featured heavily. Those crazy Japies can write smart radio.

Tomorrow could go either way. One thing’s for sure though, no Kiwis will be charged excess baggage because of the radio jury.
