Australian Unity releases next ‘Zoe’ instalment
This week sees the launch of the next instalment in the highly successful “Zoe the blogger” campaign for Australian Unity, developed by Melbourne creative agency Spinach advertising, part of STW Group.
In the latest 30 second TVC, just launched in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, Zoe shows her sister just how easy it is to sign up for Australian Unity Health Insurance online – in fact, the whole issue is dealt at a casual sisterly catch up over lunch.
This spot is the fifth in the series and is designed to capitalise on the increase in market activity as the end of the financial year approaches.
Natalie Sneddon, Australian Unity Health Marketing said: “We are very happy so far with the results of this new campaign. Since launching in February this year, we have experienced significant growth in member numbers; much better than the category average”.
Executive Creative Director of Spinach Frank Morabito said: “Private Health Insurance is a tough category so it’s incredibly exciting and rewarding to create a campaign that resonates so well with the target audience, communicates a complex message in a simple way and achieves outstanding results.”
This latest TVC will be supported by some outdoor activity in selected markets.

Are you serious? These ads make me feel like stabbing my eyeballs.
We’ll have to wait till next year to see if it picks up at canne.
The only reason I can presume they are PRing this crap again is that they have no clients left and they are trying to impress the only dreadful one they actually do anything for by pretending Campaign Brief actually likes this work ? They need to get amongst the target audience to see what young girls in the know actually wear to work and it is not a left over try hard vintage suit either!!! Seriously, this just proves what trouble the industry is in when we dish up this woeful crap. Wake up AU you have no products or services that are actually USEFUL or SIMPLE….
Really? The whole series is incredibly out of touch.
This series of ads are absolute shite. Who developed them? Who commissioned them? Shoot them all.
