Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, Whybin\TBWA Sydney lead Aussie pack at shortlist stage of Direct Lions; Colenso BBDO dominates NZ tally

Clems has two for Yellow Pages ‘Hidden Restaurant’ and two for Carlton Dry Legends of the Dry ‘Snake’ and ‘Sausage’ featuring Steven Segal.

While Whybin’s has two for Mars Petcare ‘Dog A Like’ App and two for NRMA ‘My Car is your car’.

In all Australia has 14 entries shortlisted compared to eight for New Zealand. Of the NZ total, Colenso BBDO, Auckland has seven and DDB has one.

Publicis Mojo Sydney has two through the shortlist stage – both for AWARD ‘Ian’s getting ready’, with one apiece to BMF Sydney, JWT Sydney, The Hallway Sydney and RAPP Melbourne.

Aussie owned agency Droga5, New York has two shortlisted, both for the ‘Decode Jay-Z with Bing’ campaign.

Aussie expat copywriter Chris Swift is shortlisted twice for his Human Rights Watch ‘Burma’ campaign via JWT New York.
