The campaign, created by Oddfellows, The White Agency and TMS will run throughout June promoting a range of the Lexus fleet including models IS 250, IS 250C, RX 350 and RX 450h. Through the mobile ads, users are given the opportunity to find a dealer, click to call, view the vehicle gallery and find out more.

Rich mobile ads enable advertisers to incorporate videos, galleries, maps and interactive forms into their mobile advertising campaigns.

Damon Scarr, commercial director, Yahoo!7, said: “At Yahoo!7 we’re constantly driving the art of advertising through innovation of our advertising formats. We’re delighted to have secured a premium brand such as Lexus as our first advertiser for this new mobile ad format. Lexus has made a savvy decision in choosing the new rich media mobile format as it encourages consumer interactivity from our mobile audience of over two million Australians a month.

Matt Tannock, manager, marketing communications, Lexus Australia says: “Yahoo!7’s new rich media ads allow us to communicate the details of key Lexus models and give our consumers the opportunity to call for more information without leaving the mobile environment. We are looking forward to seeing the results of this innovative new advertising solution.”
