Profero, Soap and BMF join Ping-Pong by Noise list of finalists – quarter finals start Thursday
After a second grueling heat, Ping-Pong by Noise found a further three finalists last night with Profero, Soap and BMF joining US Sydney, Reborn and Leo Burnett in the finals next week.
A further six runners-up are still competing for the remaining two finalist places – when 8 teams will begin the showdown for the title of “Advertising’s Ping-Pong Champions”, kicking off with quarter-finals next Thursday 2 June.
The revelry continued way into the night, with great food provided by Aria Catering and beer from Tooheys Extra Dry. Paul Pinkewich and his team from Table Tennis World and Table Tennis NSW again provided excellent equipment and adjudication – ensuring the night a smooth and huge success.
The finals are expected to be a Ping-Pong extravaganza with the top 8 ping-pong agencies competing fiercely for the coveted trophy and hefty prizes, including $1,500 for first place, $600 for second and $300 for third, plus a stack of extra Noise-related items and spot prizes for best-dressed and best celebration on the night.
As one of the finalists from the second heat, Bradley Eldridge of Soap Creative said, “the lead up to this event really had us excited and Noise didn’t disappoint. The beer was flowing. The food from ARIA was delicious. The inter-agency trash talk and dirty tactics were outrageous! It’s just a shame the competition didn’t live up to our expectations.”

What’s with all the beards on young guys? No wonder I can’t find a man in the industry..

I’m a man. I’m not in the industry. But one day I will be.
At the moment I can’t grow a beard. Possible because I don’t have enough testosterone.
But I know one day I will be able to grow a beard. And I will also be employed by then.
The thing that separates me from them, is that I won’t grow the beard. Because that way we can be together.
Call me.
Beards are gay
The guys from Soap were table tennis robots from the future. No amount of trash talking or Jedi mind tricks could put them off.
And none of them had beards. Just their own bats in nice little cases.
As a young man in advertising I must say how insulted I am by the “Beards are gay ” comment. Sure, my boyfriend has one and it gives me a bit of pash rash now and then, but there’s nothing gay about it. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
I just have one question. Where I can get that Bones Brigade shirt.
google it you lazy twat.
Thanks for your help 1.31. You’ve been amazing.
ˇo the gay commenter before, have a look at this:
