DDB New Zealand swims off with NAB’s April Newspaper Ad of the Month Award
DDB New Zealand has won the NZ NAB’s April Newspaper Ad of the Month with a powerful water safety message for the Coastguard. M&C Saatchi, Auckland’s latest ad in its series for Warehouse Stationery ‘Spilt Coffee’ received a Highly Commended acknowledgment.
The April Ad of the Month judges were Auckland=based Tony Clewett – DraftFCB, Richard Loseby – Ogilvy and Crispin Schuberth – Barnes Catmur & Friends.
Commenting on the winning ad the judges said “…it ran prior to one ofworst weather days so very pertinent timing. The haunting nature of themessage lent itself to newspapers’ brooding newsprint imagery.”
